- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘Global Investors Summit 2023‘ during his visit to Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 8 December. ‘Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023’ is a step towards establishing Uttarakhand as a new hub of investment. The two-day summit is being held on December 8 and 9, 2023 with the theme “Peace to Prosperity”.
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and property due to the recent cyclone Michong that hit Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry. He also prayed for those injured or affected by the cyclone and that officials are making tireless efforts at the ground level to help the affected people.
- Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has recently inaugurated the 59th Annual Seminar 2023 of the Indian Fertilizer Association. Garba has been included in the UNESCO list as the 15th intangible cultural heritage of India. Garba as a dance form is deeply rooted in religious and devotional practices, involving people from all walks of life. Garba is growing into a vibrant tradition that brings communities together.
- The 16th edition of the Military Cooperation Sub-Group (MCSG) meeting between India and Germany was recently held in New Delhi. This MCSG platform drives activities through regular interactions at the strategic and operational levels between Headquarters Integrated Defense Staff and the Department of International Cooperation Armed Forces Office.

This project will convert about 500 km of state highways and major district roads into standard two-lane.
