NEET is an All-India Pre-medical entrance test for candidates who wish to pursue Under-Graduate Medical, Dental, and Ayush courses in Government and Private Institutions in India and Abroad. NEET Exam Pattern 2023 is easy to understand and has been simplified by National Testing Agency. The NEET Exam Pattern 2023 consists of MCQs to be attempted and composed of four subjects.
What is the latest NEET Exam Pattern 2023?
In the latest update released for NEET UG Exam 2023 by National Testing Agency (NTA), the candidates are presented with 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from four subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) divided into two sections viz. Section A and Section B for each subject. Candidates are expected to attempt 180 questions only.

What are the salient features of NEET Exam Pattern 2023?
The candidates should go through the following points to have a clear understanding of the latest NEET Exam Pattern 2023. In the below-mentioned points, candidates will come to know about exam mode, duration, number of questions, and other important factors related to the NEET Exam Pattern.
- The NEET UG Exam 2023 will be conducted in Offline mode i.e. Pen and Paper Mode.
- The total duration of the NEET UG Exam will be for 200 minutes (3 hours and 20 minutes) for all four subjects and it’s conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM (IST) on the given day. There’s no time limit predefined for the individual sections of the exam.
- All the questions in NEET UG 2023 Exam will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions MCQs) in which a candidate needs to choose the right answer among given options.
- In NEET UG Exam 2023, the candidates will be presented with a choice in answering questions. Out of 200 questions, candidates are supposed to answer 180 only.
- In NEET UG Exam 2023, each subject will have 50 questions, out of which 35 are compulsory and from the rest 15, they need to attempt only 10.
- In NEET UG Exam 2023,the total marks will be 720. Each correct answer will fetch you 4 marks and each incorrect answer will have a penalty of -1 mark.
- NEET UG Exam 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu languages as medium of paper.
