NEET OMR Sheet or popularly known as recorded response sheets refer to the actual answer sheet having all the answers marked by the test-taking candidates. It’s always displayed in the form of scanned images to the candidates. NEET OMR Sheets are used to calculate the marks scored in the NEET UG Exam with the help of the NEET Answer Key. Candidates can easily download their respective OMR Sheets by logging into their assigned online accounts.

How can one candidate challenge NEET OMR response sheet?

Candidates who feel there’s a discrepancy in his/her OMR Response Sheet are permitted by NTA to challenge it. NTA has provided candidates with two days period to file a challenge against OMR Response Sheet. If any candidate is looking to challenge the OMR response sheet provided by NTA, the candidate should follow the below-mentioned steps:

Within the timeline provided by NTA, browse and visit the official website of NTA NEET.

  • The candidate should make sure he/she is logging in using the correct application number and password on the login page.
  • The candidate should click on the option appearing on the screen as “OMR Challenge”.
  • In case the candidate wants to further view again the NEET 2022 response sheet, then click on the option “Click here to view your OMR Answer Sheet”.
  • For the candidate to file and register an objection against the response sheet on the NTA website, he/she should click on “Click here for OMR Challenge”
  • The candidate should select the answer that he/she feels has been wrongly marked by NTA.
  • Then, accordingly he/she should submit the objection raised and pay for the non-refundable fee in online mode.
  • In the final step, the candidate should view and then save the confirmation slip generated for future reference.

NEET OMR Sheet: How to mark the responses?

As a known fact, NEET is a pen and paper-based examination, and candidates choosing to appear in the NEET UG Exam have to mandatorily mark their responses on the OMR Sheet provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA).Most of the candidates have been making very petty mistakes while marking their responses on the NEET OMR Sheet. Candidates should read and understand the below-mentioned points regarding NEET OMR Sheet to avoid making petty mistakes:

  • The NTA has been providing blue or black ballpoint pens to the candidates at the NEET exam centers.
  • Candidates have to mark their responses on the NEET OMR Sheet using the pen provided at the NEET exam centers.
  • Candidates have to fill the entire bubble on the OMR Sheet for it to be considered a valid response.
  • Any semi-filled bubble will be considered an invalid response and no marks will be given to the candidate.
  • The Candidates should avoid smudging or overfilling the bubbles and marking should be confined to the circle only. It makes it easy for a computer to secure the response provided by the candidate.
